1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account Information

When you sign up for Spacial, we collect:

Email address (via Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In)
User ID (generated by Firebase Authentication)

1.2 User Content

Photos you upload to create 3D room designs
Project data including edits, modifications, and generated images/videos
Drawing annotations and masks created during editing

1.3 Usage Information

Credit usage and transaction history
Subscription status (managed through RevenueCat)
Device tokens for push notifications (optional)
Project creation and edit timestamps

1.4 Technical Information

We collect minimal technical data necessary for app functionality:

Device type and iOS version
App performance and crash logs
Authentication tokens

We do NOT collect:

Location data
Browsing history
Contacts or other device information

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to provide and improve Spacial's services:

Core Functionality

Authentication: To create and secure your account
Image Processing: To generate 3D isometric rooms and apply edits using AI technology
Storage: To save your projects and make them accessible across devices
Credits & Billing: To manage your subscription and in-app purchases

Communications

Transactional emails: Account-related notifications (e.g., password resets, subscription changes)
Push notifications: To notify you when your projects are ready (if you opt-in)
Marketing emails: Occasional updates about new features (you can opt-out anytime)

We do NOT:

Sell your data to third parties
Use your photos for any purpose other than generating your requested designs
Train AI models on your images without permission

3. Third-Party Services

Spacial uses the following trusted services to operate:

3.1 Firebase (Google Cloud)

Purpose: Authentication, database, file storage, cloud functions
Data Shared: Email, user ID, photos, project metadata

3.2 Google Vertex AI (Gemini)

Purpose: AI-powered image editing and transformation
Data Shared: Your photos (for processing only)
Note: Google does NOT use your data to train AI models

3.3 AtlasCloud AI

Purpose: Isometric image generation and video creation
Data Shared: Temporary signed URLs to your images (expire after 4 hours)

3.4 RevenueCat

Purpose: Subscription and in-app purchase management
Data Shared: User ID, purchase events (anonymous)

3.5 Apple Sign-In / Google Sign-In

Purpose: Secure authentication
Data Shared: Email address, optional name
Privacy: Standard OAuth protocols

4. Data Storage and Security

Storage Location

Your data is stored on Google Cloud servers (primarily in the us-central1 region)
Images are stored in Google Cloud Storage
Project metadata is stored in Firebase Firestore

Security Measures

Encryption: All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest
Access Control: Only you can access your projects (authenticated access only)
App Check: Firebase App Check prevents unauthorized API access
Signed URLs: Image access links expire after 4 hours

5. Data Retention

Active Accounts: We retain your data indefinitely while your account is active
Deleted Projects: Permanently deleted from storage when you delete them in-app
Deleted Accounts: All data (projects, images, metadata) is immediately and permanently deleted
Purchase History: RevenueCat retains anonymous purchase records (user IDs only) for legal/tax compliance

We do NOT automatically delete inactive accounts or old projects.

6. Your Rights and Choices

Access Your Data

Delete Your Data

Individual Projects: Delete any project from the Library tab
Account Deletion: Go to Settings → Delete Account (this is permanent and immediate)

Opt-Out of Communications

Marketing Emails: Click "unsubscribe" in any email
Push Notifications: Disable in iOS Settings → Spacial → Notifications

Manage Subscriptions

Managed through the App Store (Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions)

7. Children's Privacy

Spacial is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If we learn we have collected such data, we will delete it immediately. Parents who believe their child has provided information should contact us at sebastian@hinokami.studio.

8. International Users

Spacial is available worldwide. By using the app, you consent to your data being transferred to and processed in the United States, where our servers are located.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do:

We'll update the "Last Updated" date above
We'll notify you via email if changes are material
Continued use of Spacial after changes means you accept the updated policy
